There is a reason why Development Banks of the past hired huge teams to do due diligance before investing in power plants because of the level of complexity of the science and the grid.

i believe many VCs today are not investing to see the development to the end but rather buy low and upsell high after hyping it up.

This is why I believe the VC industry need to pivot to impact investment models.
