The concerns of the people should be the focus of Sustainability.

I think that too many sustainability narratives have mistaken taken the environmentalist approach of "saving the planet". Sustainability is not about saving the planet, its about saving ourselves by ensuring our planet continues to be suitable for living.

Sustainability should not be a "crazy" or "radical" idea but one that is as obvious as someone telling a kid to "look both ways before you cross the road".
