Rather than degrowth, I think it should be impact driven or purpose driven where the companies business model is able to supply the value to the right demands of society.

I think your concept is right for Amazon but the term degrowth can also be a misleading direction for some industries.

Sometimes a company needs to grow more to be more sustainable.

For example, there are many energy companies in emerging markets that should grow more organically or through merger to reach the critical mass to implement solutions at scale. So many global companies have degrowth themselves by selling high carbon assets to local owners who not only continue the high carbon activity but emit more due to their lack of expertise, funding and economy of scale.
